Sencha Naturals was created by the founder of 360 labs after his trek to Asia in 2001. Through his journeys to different parts of the region, he discovered the many benefits of tea and learned of the extensive research being conducted about this fragile, yet potent plant called ‘camellia sinensis’. From learning how tea is cultivated to the many medicinal benefits of tea, he began exploring the variety of possibilities of green tea...particularly a grade of tea referred to as ‘Sencha’. Used as an elixir, Sencha was known for its high antixoxidants (200 times more potent that Vitamin C), along with its curative effects; from headaches and digestive problems to lack of energy and immune deficiencies. Besides its medicinal beverage uses, he discovered that green tea was being used in a variety of products from toothpastes, to gums, to soaps, to skin care products throughout Asia.

 

Upon his return to the United States, he noticed that this elusive herb was almost completely limited to being consumed as a beverage. Through collaboration with tea masters, herbalists, formulators and tea connoisseurs, Sencha Naturals was founded.

 

The goal was to create a socially responsible company that utilized this potent herb in substantial levels to treat a variety of conditions. The result: after three years and numerous trials and tribulations, SEN CHA ‘Green Tea Mints’ were developed. Sencha Naturals is in development of future green tea products including a whole food nutrition bar line, as well as a complete restorative skin care line.
